Audrey Rootham - Administrator
I have over thirty years’ administrative experience, the majority being spent within community based projects both self-financing and as part of local authorities. I have also used my administrative skills on a voluntary basis within my local community.
My biggest passion is being part of community based projects watching them grow and achieve so I was delighted to bring my skills to WinG in July 2012 in my exciting new role as Administrator.
Paul Errington - Instructor
Through my childhood and teenage years I have great memories being in the outdoors and have a passion for coaching and watching others achieve. I have a degree in outdoor education and over the past few years I have gained qualifications in mountain leadership, kayaking, canoeing, power boating and mountain biking.
In 2015 I started working as an instructor and have never looked back! When I’m not working most of my time is spent on the beach or looking for mountain bike trails in the woods. Although still learning new skills I am keen to pass on what I do know to others to help them achieve their true potential.
Nick Coates - Senior Instructor
My earliest outdoor memory was as a young boy going up Ben Nevis with my dad. My love for the outdoors has continued to grow and I have very fond experiences of mountaineering in the Highlands of Scotland, absorbing the wonderful scenery and connecting with wild spaces. My outdoor experiences have ranged from working with RAF Mountain Rescue, commercial outdoor centres, youth organisations and personal outdoor worldwide trips.
Over the years I have gained a number of qualifications as a mountain leader, canoe/kayak instructor, cycle leader, rock climber and sports leader to add to my degree in Youth and Community work and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education). I take great satisfaction in helping to inspire, motivate and develop people’s sense of achievement and more recently have really enjoyed working with adults of all ages.
